Well let's see..since last night..I have made Homemade Chicken Stock, Homemade Marinara (spaghetti sauce for some of us), and currently I have started on the Nanna's Chicken & Dumplins. Still to come..either Banana Peanut Chocolate Bread...or cinnamon rolls...or maybe both..depends on my mood (and how many dishes I feel like cleaning)
I love to cook and I love it when I have time to cook. There's just something about starting out with a bunch of parts and ending up with a whole. There's just something about creating a meal for people that you love and taking care of them.
I think I will flip through some cookbooks and see if anything else inspires me.
Still have to learn how to make a great Chicken Marsala..its my hubby's favorite. So if you have a suggestion or a recipe..send it on!!!
So right now I have frozen chicken broth that will be joined by some marinara before the night is over and I don't think the chicken and dumplins will ever see the cold...not if I know my husband. I do wish my freezer were a bit larger!! I could do a little more cooking before the weekend is over!
