We decided to head out to the fair this year on opening weekend and that was a first for us. Most years we go on a weeknight and enjoy the smaller crowds but this year we ventured out in the day time.
Let the fun begin!! Here we are at our first stop! Fletcher's corny dogs, rootbeer and Big Tex!!
Batman!!! Yes that is Batman's car. We were wandering around one of the halls and came upon the Batmobil, The Green Lanterns car, and the Monkeys car on display. My Fan Boy husband couldn't resist so he paid the $3 each for us to go in and grab some pictures. Here's my favorite.
There was a great display of the legacy of Tom Landry at the fair this year.
Here is our Fried Specialty of the year! Fried Peaches and Cream!! Now of course we ate our usual fried delecacies of corny dogs, twister taters, and funnel cakes but I didn't capture those on film this year!
Here we are on the Skytram (I don't know what its called) 6 1/2 months pregnant with slightly swollen feet, we opted to ride one way across the fair grounds to make the day a little more enjoyable. Loved it!
