The Move

Well..except for the 3 inches of standing water on the kitchen floor and laundry room floor, the day has gone great!! (It seems the movers forgot to stick the washing machine drain tube down the hole)

Movers did arrive 30 minutes early and 2 1/2 hours later they were gone. My dear sweet friend Christi stayed up until 3:00 packing my entire kitchen and laundry room. The movers did move 98% of our things and Brian and Paul are at the old apartment getting the last few things.

There is still so much to be done but we are thankful that Paul and Angi are here to help. They are longtime friends that drove in from Texarkana to help.

So here's to unpacking, repurposing, reorganizing and no more flooded floors!!
