Change

No, not the kind of change you find in your sofa cushions or on the floor board of your car but the kind that life constantly brings. We all know that life is always changing and just about the time you get comfortable something comes along to interrupt.

We in the England household have experienced and are experiencing much change.
Just over 5 months ago we brought home Maddie, aka Rotten Dog, and are so glad we did. I never realized how much change a dog could bring about but she sure did and I think it was a first lesson in things to come.

Shortly after bringing Maddie home we found out we were pregnant! The first 2 weeks we knew we were expecting a little bundle of joy were wonderful and dreamy. Week 5 of my pregnancy hit and morning sickness me like a freight train. I wondered how I would make it through work and by God's abundance of grace, patience and co-workers that ROCK I did make it to the first days of summer break.

This summer was a total CHANGE from all other summers since I spent the majority of my time not feeling well and trying to find some sense of normal. Week 20 hit and PTL morning sickness finally decided to give me a break!! The past 3 week have been vastly better but still full of changes. Physical changes, scheduling changes, sleeping changes have all made their way into our life. Maybe my life more than Brian's but change nonetheless.

This school year has been vastly different because I always have in the back of my mind the fact that I am pregnant and that there is so much to get done before December. I also have had a change in the way I view my students. I have always loved my students, even before I know them and even after I know them but this year I am even more aware that these are someones sons and daughters. You really teach differently when your viewpoint changes.

We have had lots of changes and there are more to come. Brian starts a new job next week and we are very excited about the company he will be with and his potential growth in the company.
Next Friday we move...yes I said move. We thought baby boy might like a room to himself instead of living in the top drawer of our dresser. (and yes I know people have actually done that and lived to be successful, well rounded people) We are moving within the apartment complex and hopefully that will make the process easier.

And of course the biggest change in our life will arrive sometime in December. The 29th is baby boy's due date and we are all hoping he actually arrives on that day since its my Memaw's birthdate. Whenever baby boy does arrive I am sure that our life will never be the same.

We look forward to the years to come and are so very thankful for the blessings in our life.
The Lord is good, faithful and everlasting and that brings an abudance of peace.

So here's to change and what tomorrow brings.
Love to all.

Love how you love your students more now that you've got mother love flowing through your veins. Just wait till he gets here -- you won't know what to do with all the love! :) Take care!
