Public Speaking 101

Well...when speaking in public you should not use the "word" UMHHH...and you should not clear your throat...Guess on those 2 items I would have failed...but...I think I can say..I did just fine for my very first public speech. The banquet was nice, the food was yummy and the girls had a great time reminiscing about the past year. I was pleased with my speech and Brian told me that he could NOT see the sweat on my face...so that was good. I was really honored to be the guest speaker and I guess now I can check off "Give public speech" on my List of Things I Have Done. Hope your weekend is just grand and you have a wonderful Sunday!

    I stumbled upon your blog and see you just completed one of the things that rank highest on the list of things people fear most. Congratulations! I am sure you blessed the crowd and I hope you get a chance to do it again (if you want to of course.)
